Makes 25 Protein Balls
INGREDIENTS
- 175g raw almonds
- 175g raw walnuts
- 15 dates, pitted
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao
- ½ tablespoon natural vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 scoops protein powder of your choice I like to use vanilla, chocolate or banana flavour for this mix (pea, rice, whey)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place nuts, cacao, cinnamon and protein powder into a blender/processor
- Blend until the mixture looks crumbly
- Add in the dates, vanilla extract & chia seeds processing again until the mixture begins to come together
- Add a little water or unsweetened almond milk if it’s not mixing through and evenly
- Once mixed thoroughly , form into small balls
Store in the fridge for a week – 10 days of snacking J
You can also roll them in desiccated coconut for an added twist and to mix it up I tend to do this!
Nuts can also be altered to suit your taste (macros will change with these edits and additions)
