Healthy Date and Banana Cookies

These oh so simple and very tasty little cookies are perfect for a sweet treat or a pre /post workout carb boost. What’s even better is they are sweetened only with fruit! Nutritious and delicious!

Ingredients:
·         3 Ripe bananas
·         2 cups of gluten free oats
·         1 cup of pitted dates chopped
·         1/3 cup of coconut oil ( melt it in microwave)
·         1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
·         Tsp Cinnamon
·         ½ tsp Nutmeg
  Method:
·         Preheat your oven to 175 degrees
·         Mash up the bananas in a large bowl, stir in your oats, dates, oil, vanilla and           spices.
·         Mix it all thoroughly and evenly
·         Let it rest for 15 mins
·         Drop tablespoons of mix onto a ungreased baking sheet then pat into little           cookie shapes
·         I got 20 cookies from this mix
·         Bake for 25 mins
